Many times we have to hound our tenants for our monthly rent checks. In Saturday?s mail I received a rent check from someone I didn?t even KNOW! As a matter of fact, I don?t even OWN any rentals any more!
It was addressed to ?Scott Lyon? with my address. I?m listed in the phone book as
?S. Lyons?. (Scott?s address was about an inch below my address.)
I tracked him down, and he was most appreciative. He said that his new tenant must have REALLY been goofed up ?cause her boyfriend had already sent in a rent check for the month!
