That’s a question that you have to reaearch and answer for yourself, preferably before you dive in and buy anything. If you know any Realtors, you might ask them for an opinion on how long it generally takes to sell home in the area, and what prices are being obtained.

HUD Question - Posted by Steven

I live in a city with insane amounts of abandoned SFH. This is due to the military post which is the back bone of the ecomemy in this community. (solders alway comming and going before they have time to sell) Yesterday I stumbled upon just one street about a mile long with 2 HUD and 3 other abondon “fixer uppers” listed with Centery 21. My question is this: Would these proporties be good opertunities because they could be perchased well below FMV, or would they be risky because they would be hard to sell due to so many other houses for sale on that street that could be bought at wholesale by anyone?
thanks
