First educate yourself before jumping in. If you are looking for the Wholesaling/Flipping aproach try the book “Flipping Properties”–Bronchick/Dahlstrom.

It also has a section on rehabs that I found very helpful.

I am in the Ft. Lauderdale area in Florida. And I would like to know what is the cheapest and most effective way to get some properties. I am a beginner. I have never done a deal before. How do I get into this great business of wholesaling?
