If the deed is recorded then you need to get a quit-claim deed from whose ever name is on the deed as the new purchaser. If the deed is not recorded you need to get a new deed from the seller, record it, and immediately destroy the first deed.

I receive the Deed yesterday to a house I just purchased… there is a name on the deed that I do not want on there… and the name that should be on there isn’t. What should I do to get this situation cleared up??
