Mark,

You can probably back into a number using the Census web site - search for # of renter households in NH and average rent paid in NH - multiply - and there’s your answer.

I realize that is not perfect, but it’s probably the best answer you’ll get. A lot of questions like that simply don’t have data collected.

Good luck,
NT

Hi and thanks in advance for any information you can send.

I am doing a research project (business plan) on real estate rentals and I need to find the industry size. I have looked on the web and in the archives, but cannot seem to find anything. Can anyone provide me with a link or information on the size of this industry?

Thank you again,

Mark

Do you mean the number of rental units, or the number of people that work in the industry, or the total square footage, or the total annual rent paid, or what?

Also, what geographic area are you concerned with?

You can tell I am new at this. Sorry for my lack of information. I am looking for the Rental Market Industry Revenue (annual rent paid). I am concerned with a total US Number and specifically New Hampshire. Thank you for the follow-up.
