Thanks, and that was quite helpful. I haven’t heard of
new utility connections lists, though…ever, maybe I never looked.
But other of the ideas would work for what I have
in mind.
Thanks again,
Ann

What is the best way to find names of people recently
relocated to your community?

Ann,

Contact the Dean at your local university or college and tell them you rent houses or apts. They are always looking for nice housing for incoming faculty and grad students. There may even be someone whose job is to help incoming people find housing.

Ann,

Just curious … How will you use the info?

I was thinking about trying to get info on people who have just relocated OUT of the city. If they left their home behind, there might be an opportunity to buy. Not sure how to use info on people relocating IN to the city though.

Let me know. Thanks,
Monique

Mil,

Try a coupon in the Welcome Wagon kits. Other similar
named companies.
Get new utility connection lists. Ours is in the paper, some are local moves, but many are new to area.
Check with Relocation Realtors- they refer the ones they can’t help to you.
Check with large company human relations dept. for new transfer in lists.
All I can think of quickly.
Hope this spurs your creativity. THINK!!

Well,it’s for another business, really.
On the other hand, newcomers might have a need
for housing AND also have a job, I guess.
