Seems high for my area, but all rental insurance is high right now. I was quoted anywhere from 1200 per year to what I finally purchased at 244 per year. Do what I did and go down the phone book until you get a good price. They are hard to find.

I have a contract on a rehab for a HUD home. The price is 22,000, mtg 35,000 and after repair value 55,000. I got an insurance quote of 1,000 for a 12 month policy. Is this normal or high?
