Sometimes, but not always, this info can be obtained from the recorders office. You may want to try there. Most of the bigger Florida counties have their recordings online so you can look up the recording info from your home computer. You will still have to go down to the courthouse though to see an actual copy of the document.

I am trying to find out what the interest rate on an old va loan + agent won’t give info. Says owner will not allow loan to be assumed, (I want to offer subject to anyway) so I don’t need info. Loan was originated 2-25-1998, any suggestions.

The VA interest rate in June 1998 was 7%. Should not be much difference between Feb 98 and Jun 98.
