Thanks for your reply Ben. I’ll check that out. I’m considering rolling my traditional IRAs into a self-directed roth IRA and then looking into investing in mortgage loans.

I’d like to find out about investing in 2nd mortgages to earn higher interest rates. A volunteer library worker told me she was able to retire at age 52 because of this investment advice offered by her father. I’ve tried searching google and this site for information to no avail.

My apologies if this topic has been covered already. If so, can you refer me to to those postings or sites.
I’d appreciate any information or advice offered.

you will probably get more responses.I have originated a few mortgages from time to time when I had extra cash
laying around but only first position on sfh’s with a very low ltv (65% max). I found Ron Legrand’s book, “Private Lending for High Profits” to be very helpful.
