Fargo is about 100K people and growing. It is actually a pretty progressive fast growing city.

Does anyone out here invest or know of any investors in the ND or Minnesota area? I have some friends that just moved to Fargo and I’m looking for investors to talk with in the area.

Thanks

I think that is a pretty small town. Were I wanting to do what you are, I’d try the following.

Call up the assessor’s office and ask them for the names and tax bill mailing address of about four or five people who own the most small residential properties in the county (if that is the type you want to know).

Try www.realtor.com and put in Fargo ND. Call up some of the real estate agents in the town and ask them for referrals to property investors they know. Also ask them questions about the market while you are on the phone. Some may even have toll-free phone numbers. The cheapskate in me poking out.

Try calling the escrow or title companies and ask for referrals to active real estate investing who use them.

Maybe similar for insurance agents.
