I would not consider it a violation of privacy. Actually, if I lived in your town, I would have made the call already so tomorrow, make the call. You never know if it is for sale until you call. Don’t wait for someone else to beat you to the deal.

I called the tax assesors office on a boarded up house and requested owners name and address. I usually send out a letter to the owners stating my interest in their property. However, they are listed in the phone book and I was wondering if this is kosher to call them with my interest instead of sending a letter?
