I am an agent. But I routinely work with clients who have tried to sell their home themselves but haven’t been able to. But when we list the house, they are still able to try and sell the property on their own, and if they do, they just reimburse me for their advertising and usually pay me to do the paperwork and oversee the transaction, it’s minimal. If it’s a repeat client, I might not even charge them. It’s the best of both worlds for the consumer.
