Tim,
All the best to you Tim. I, too, am breaking away from the J.O.B. as an Industrial Engineer to embark on the REI journey. My last day is December 1, 2000. I have been studying for two months and had planned on cutting loose full-time on 2/17/01. Instead of that great plan, I was thrown an even better plan of being cut from the Engineering Dept. and being given one month notice to find another position. They don’t know that my new position has already been decided. I have been reading this web site with great interest for about three weeks and feel I’ve discovered a gold mine. What a bunch of great people. I would be proud to be associated with all of you people and plan to enter questions and offer encouragement until I get to the point of helping others with my own experience. As for now, I will respectfully read, learn and ask questions.

Steph,
Thanks! My office is literally plastered in head-sized red, blue and yellow happy faces from floor to ceiling! The sarcasm of my co-workers’ comments on my general demeanor while at the J.O.B. is dripping in irony that doesn’t escape me. Do we have to go through BIG before we get to HUGE? Time to make some new friends! Later, Mortgage Mama!
