In NJ (and I am sure throughout the country) the IRS has 120 days to redeem. You will not be able to pass clear title until the redemption period expires.

I have yet to see the IRS redeem a foreclosed property. I just wait out the 120 days.

Sir,

John Doe has an IRS Lien which attaches to property he owns. His property is foreclosed on and he is no longer the property owner. Doesn’t the Lien come off the property?
