Just a quick question for those involved in flipping... - Posted by ERIC (In So Cal)

Eric;

Sometimes I’ll offer low, and be rejected. I’ll say “well, if you change your mind, give me a call”.

Later (2 weeks, 2 months, whatever), I’ll call back, and tell the seller my offer is still good.

The only time this would be a problem is if your offer was accepted at a time when you do not want to buy, perhaps because you bought something else.
Be sure to add a stipulation to your PA to give you an out (i.e. any transactions past 48 hrs are subject to renegotiation), or, if you have reason, write the seller withdrawing your original offer.

Good Luck; Rolfe

Hi all,

When making an offer to purchase a SFH to flip (such as a junker), What might be a good time requirement for the seller to respond to your offer? I’ve heard suggestions like 24hrs, or even less. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Eric
