When the landlord calls after receiving “I’m just a plain guy looking for a rental” letter, how do you explain where you found info on him? Joe says not to show that you’ve done your homework, but what do you tell them? The reason I ask is because I just sent out my first batch of letters and the first phone call on my voice mail is from a landlord who only wants to know how I found him. I’m sure others will ask that too. I don’t want to lie to them.
Please help. I don’t want to mess this up. I am really hoping this strategy will work. Thank you.
