I think it was Michael Todd, Liz Taylor’s husband, a movie producer (before he died in a plane crash), who said that “I may have been broke, but I’ve never been poor.”

Something to think about when you phrase your words.

try checking ebay now and then. You may find some very good deals by substantial authors/investors. You can bid on courses and books. Bid what you can afford. Who knows, you just might get an excellent course at a price you like.

Delwin,

I once owned Myers course. I sold it a week later. I have to say it was one of the weakest courses I’ve ever had. If you are into rehabs…I mean if you are a newbie and want to get into rehabs you might get something out of it, but I did not pick up even one idea that was fresh or new(basic old hat stuff). I do not have Bill B’s Flipping course but I have all the rest and I have been very satisfied with them all. I use his contracts exclusively. I do not hesitate to recommend Bill’courses. I don’t know Kevin and really don’t care to knock him but I have to be honest. You are getting some pretty lame advice below.

Hi Delwin,

No unfortunately I haven’t tried his course but I will be ordering his course real soon and his course is more affordable than William Bronchick’s course any day. I think that $395.00 is a bit steep. Well I think Kevin Myers Has more to offer than William Bronchick’s course. I made a comparison and William Bronchick just came out maybe about a year or two now , whereas Kevin Myers been around for years already with far greater experience than William Bronchick. I hope this helps.

Ron Legrand has a lower priced starter course for about $200. And we all know Legrand!

Please explain how you know “it works” when you
admit you have never even seen the course.

Myer’s course is skimpy on material and is a
rehash of Jackie Lange’s ideas, which can
be found in these archives for free.
It also includes an audio tape that is also
almost completely inaudible.

Myers is not a flipper, he is a rehabber, and
Bronchick has far more experience in these
type of deals.

It boggles the mind how you “compared” two
courses you’ve never seen, and now are
recommending someone to spend their dough
based on your “comparison”.

Bill Bronchick had out three courses already when Kevin wrote his first book!

I don’t know about you, but I’m much more comfortable with forms and contracts designed by an experienced attorney/investor rather than a college professor.

If $395 is too much to invest, I guess I betten turn in all the THOUSANDS I’ve spent over the years in materials!

Of course I would have to also give back the HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS I’ve made with those ideas!

Oh well, I guess us old guys need to wake up!

Hi,

The only reason I made comparisons is because the pricing is more
affordable and William Bronchick is selling his for too much , especially
when many people that post on here don’t have the money at all to spend it
on. PEOPLE ARE POOR!! And seriously don’t have money to spend like others
who are fortunate enough to be blessed with that kind of Money to spend. Yes
, I didn’t buy the course yet but I read about both of them Kevin and
William materials that they each offer on flipping and Kevin just seems to
be more within reason for those who can’t afford paying $400 to $600.00 to
start. These guys act like people have money growing out of their pockets
and just love to give it away.

I’ll tell you one thing, I will be back at creonline posting to tell
everyone my success story on How I flipped my first property without buying
courses costing $400.00. And $400.00 can be used towards rent money not no
books and tapes!!!

At $15, it’s probably an introduction to flipping - Posted by Houserookie

it will give u an idea on what flipping means.

Although it may be difficult to include forms and
contracts in a 15 dollar book.

If in fact u are serious about getting in RE, I
would consider turning it into a part time business.
A part time homebased business will allow you to
take many deductions that will allow more take home
pay.

You can increase your tax exemptions, therefore
decreasing your witholding. Take the money and
buy the indepth material by Bronchik.

Contact a local CPA. I’m sure they would love to
help you figure out your additional take home
pay per year by operating a home based business.

Most people should be able to take home 400-500 extra per month.

So again, I’m not sure how serious you are about RE.
If there’s a will there’s a way.
