Thanks for the response. I am in the Lake Tahoe, Carson Valley area. Are we competitors? lol.
I would be happy to share information. Perhaps, we could have this area conquered if we helped each other.

L/O laws in CA and NV? - Posted by Erik Bergerud

I am studying Ron LeGrand’s courses and I am wondering what the laws are in California and Nevada concerning the techniques Legrand describes concerning L/O’s, wholesaling, and owner financing.

  1. Do I need a RE license and/or business license in each state?
  2. Is it legal to L/O and/or option in CA or NV?
  3. What is the state minimum if any for option deposits so that the agreements would hold up in court?

Any info on either state would be helpful.

I have the same courses and live in NV. It appears to work perfectly in both CA and NV. Where are you located? It might be possible to get together and compare notes!
