I’ve been a landlord for almost 20 years and have found Leigh Robinson’s “Landlording” book to be the best on the market. I haven’t purchased Jeff’s starter kit, but do frequent the Mr Landlord site. EXCELLENT & highly recommended by other landlords.

I am sure there are those on here placing renters into their properties, and I am going that direction. However, I have no books, forms, or courses on this subject. I do know the landlord/tenant laws, but feel I should know the subject matter and record keeping a little more before I get my first rental.
Has anyone purchased MrLandlord’s ‘starter’ kit? It’s only $150 and has the forms and a book by someone and some other things. Seems reasonable, but I have not searched intensively for a list of things I should study up on and be prepared for.
