Thanks Scott. But since I posted the question I’ve downloaded some contracts from another website. They seem to be very thourough, cost me $30. Thanks again.

leasing my house…? - Posted by Scott

Hello everyone,
This is my first time visiting and I have a question I’m hoping someone can help me with. Last week I purchased a new house (my dream home, brand new in a country club… golf, tennis, the works) and I’ve decided to try and lease/option my current house. I’ve read several books lately and feel like I’ve got a decent idea of how to get started. My only problem is I need the proper contracts. The books I’ve read don’t have what I need. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott

Try your local Staples/Office Depot store. I suggest you get a rental agreement for the rent and a Lease Option agreement for the Option. In my opinion, keeping these as two separate documents is better for the overal transaction - especially in the event you need to “evict” your tenant.
