Not exactly - but here we have a number of mobiles on lots with the same 6 month restriction - it is grandfathered with 6 months to replace if removed. No problem as long as you adhere to the regs.

4-plex in nice area that is legally nonconforming as follows: can be built back as duplex at most if damaged more than 50% and if a unit goes unrented for 6 months cannot be re-rented. Anyone had any problems with something like this?

Look carefully at the rental history to determine if a 6 mo. vacancy is possible. Also, a fire, or natural disaster might cause you to lose 2 units. I think you should perhaps consider an offer based on it being a duplex rather than a four; however, there may be other factors to consider.
