Usually when no one knows if there are or aren’t any
regulations there probably are not.
You might check with your states Manufactured Housing Assoc. In New York they have: www.nymha.org
Your state may have a similar site.

I read some of the archives on dealer licensing, so I decided to try my local county clerk to see what the requirements are for KY. The county clerk says to call the county government, who then says to call the DMV, who then says to call the county clerk (the vicious cycle begins!!). I guess that means nobody even knows if a license is required!! I’ll just work as one of those unlicensed trailer stealers for now, and try the vicious cycle again from time to time until I stumble upon that one person in our local government who has a brain!!

In CT I went to the state govt web site and found a “licensing” button which I clicked. I got “Contact Us” kind of email button and sent them my questions about dealer licensing. After exchanging 2 or 3 emails I got my answer, $300/yr. Good Luck
