Dale, Check with the bank where you currently do business or any bank, or mortgage broker. This is a very common type of loan.

Ed, we have been told that we could take out a lien against my husbands real estate investment for cash, is this true? We purchased an old farmhouse and rehabbed it into his chiropractic office. We bought it for $119,700 and think it would appraise for $160,000 zoned commercial.
If this is true, how do we find out more and who would issue the lien? We would like to consolidate our bills and this would give us the means to do so. Thanks
