Sorry to hear that your loyalty and committment wasn’t enough for that company. I’m afraid it’s a sign of the times. You know, it’s ironic that the same companies that ‘downsized’ folks several years ago are now whining like crazy that they can’t find and keep good, qualified employees because the job market is so good. They claim “there’s just no employee loyalty anymore” and “they will pick up and leave on a whim if they get a better deal”! They have some nerve!
Maurice, you are in the right place. CS is a good basic course to start. Make sure you read ALL of the material on this site as well as the daily postings and invest in some courses when you can (in areas that you are interested in). Post here with any questions you have along the way.
