Many lenders will not do it in the LLC name.
Usually you have to qaulify in your name + merits and then transfer title to the LLC after the loan closing. Many people have the title company do it as part of the close. You will still be responsible for it though in most cases… There are more details in this - email me if you want to be walked through a deal…

My family is looking at creating a small real estate investment company. Someone shared with me that I should set up an LLC. My questions are - Can an LLC own real Estate? … Will financing be difficult to obtain with an LLC?.. If you are just starting the LLC with $40k in cash assets will you have to use personal guarantees to get your first loans?
