I just found the site yesterday, and I’m reading all I can. I’m very interested in purchasing MH’s, selling them, and holding the note.
My question is, how are those of you in Florida dealing with the licensing requirements? From what I’ve read, I need to at least be a licensed mobile home broker in Florida, which carries (among other things) a requirement for a permanent office which is not a residence. Since I imagine I will be purchasing MH’s, rehabing them, selling them, and holding the note, I think this falls into the category of “must be licensed.” Anyone else in Florida dealt with this? If I have to have an office (even a virtual one), maintain a license, surety bond, etc., this will cost me at least $150-200 per month. Is there any way around this?
