Hello: I am wondering if someone could tell me if Lonnie deals are possible in Texas without having to get a real estate license? Someone had told me that to do them one must definitely have a license and im just trying to find out if this is true. Thankyou.

I live in Houston and am new to “Lonnie deals” too but we just put a contract on one today. Someone told me that you could probably do one or two deals without a license. We plan to do just one until I can get to Austin to get the license. On the other hand, you can keep doing the Lonnie deals and sell them on lease/option without a license.

I think you are confusing a real estate license which is required for real estate agents/brokers and a mobile home dealer license.

Try these contacts. They are from the State of Texas website.
