Usually, you can send a note to the payor, asking them to either switch it, or send you their insurance info, and that you’ll take care of it.

I just purchased my first note. How do I go about making sure that I am now listed as loss payee on insurance, and how do I make sure the taxes are being paid without getting notice by the county that the property is going up for auction.
Thanks.

I refinanced my veichle this april. this is my first time ever makeing a move like this. i continued to make regular insurance payments with my current carrier. i recieved a notice from my lienholder stating that i owe them for two months. They recieved my insurance information but said it was dated after i refinanced and i owe the remainder. What can i do from this point on. Is there anything that i can do to resolve this matter.
