I don’t know about the A/C part, but you can get a new heater on Ebay for $450 delivered. You can get a window A/C for $300 at Home Depot.

I check with every furnace repairman and Mobile home repairman I can find for a takeout unit. I even stop the guys who work for the propane companies in their service trucks and ask if the have any, they often do work on the side and have units lying around. Also check out mobilehomerepair.com
