Someone correct me if I am wrong, but, I believe that the UCC allows women to use their maiden names to sign legal documents and checks. You might want to get a legal opinion on this.

Gentlemen,
My wife has used her maiden name as corporate officer of our Nevada Corporation. The corporation (a non-profit) serves as trustee of our land trust properties in New York.
Assuming she has ID to notarize a deed as president of the corporation, do you see any problems with this arrangement? I presume the proceeds would then be paid out to the corporation, or perhaps to the beneficiary if the title company could be convinced…?
