Most folks are intimidated by “fast talkers”. I like people I deal with to be comfortable. I also keep things slow. I let them do the math themselves. And I fill out the forms with them there. That way we did it together and they are much more comfortable.
What marketing copy seems to be the most effective - generic form letter type stuff, or more personal type stuff like “My wife and I…”. The marketing pros like Richard Roop and Ben Innes-Ker seem to push the more generic stuff, but archived posts seem to show that investors prefer to use the more personal stuff. I have gotten better response from the more personal copy, but why do the marketing pros push those stupid form letters and go on about “free reports” and “24-hour hotlines”, etc?
