You probably can’t. You should consult an attorney that specializes in California medi-cal law to be sure, but it sounds like they have a valid lien on your house and will have to be paid off.

I had a heart attack several years ago,no insurance the hospital fill out medi-cal to pay for the costs. the state of california has put their name on my house when i sell they get all of the money. I would like to move to another house/ how can i sell my home without given the state all of the money so i can move to a better area
