Do most parks still have galvaized and tile? I understand PVC pipes are much better and save $$. In general,is an owner responsible for pipes and meters or city? What if I install individual meters myself, what challenges and time involved - assume I have to turn off main water to install each meter?
Thanks

How old is the park? Who’s responsible for the water and sewer line maint & repairs?
I’ve done 2 $2500 search and repair jobs to find where the old sewer lines ran and where they were collapsed (tile pipes) and had the bad sections replaced with pvc. I’ve also had numerous small leaks spring up and the town has come in and dug up the old 3/4" galvanized water line and replaced it at their expense. I’ve currently got a leak that they said they won’t repair, and I’m going to have to run a new line (and hookup all the water meters) to fix the problem.
