I am looking for some advice on forming my LLC here in Michigan. I have found the forms on the Michigan website, and they seem very basic. First form needs to be sent in with under $50. The document says articles of organization, but really appears to just be articles of formation (only 2 pages long). Anybody from Michigan with some experience to share would be greatly appreciated. I hear that paying a lawyer is a waste of $$$??
