Hi, first time posting. Does anyone know of a way to get access to the MLS, other than going through R.E. agents and appraisers? I need it mainly to do comps. for rehab deals or to establish rent rates for an area. I’m sure its available on-line for free or by fee. I live in southeastern VA. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check out realtor.com web site. It is not as current as MLS but might be of help.

No. MLS is the database owned by the Realtors. If you want access, pay the price and get a license. Some local associations offer affiliate memberships to non-Realtors for whatever that is worth.
