The MLS is a private organization that, as far as I know limits it’s access to members only (for a fee). This is not to say that you could not get information from a friendly Realtor, or someone else who has the service (that they paid for). Ask around for info, but do not expect to find free access. What Ed said is correct. The MLS is a tightly guarded database.
Some of the info is available on www.realtor.com in a limited form. You may wish to consider getting a license or becoming an “affiliate” member of you local REALTOR’S organization. Also, sometimes you can find a REALTOR that will work with but they are often few and far between unless you can prove you are serious.
