I live in the panama city area of florida. I would like to purchase a home for 65k or less for homestead. For that price I can get a nice mobile home on 1 acre with over 1000 sq feet or a small home with a small lot that needs work.
The mobile home will most likely go down in value in itself. But the developed property should go up in value more as it is a larger unit
How bad of an investment in general would it be to purchase mobile home?
I know no two properties are just alike and it is hard to compare apples to oranges. Just looking for some input.

Look in your local phone book for Jimmy Napier. He used to be from Chipley, but later I am told he moved to Panama City. Jimmy is one of the all time great seminar teachers, and authors. He is very knowlegable in mobile homes and other investments. He might even set you up with a deal of some kind, if he takes a shine to you.
