I recently purchased “Deals on Wheels” and read it cover to cover in one sitting. Since then I have read it more times than I can count. I put an ad in a paper to test the market just as the book described. Wouldn’t you know they did not place the two most important words with it…“Will Finance”. I am having the hardest time actually getting started. My family has had some dealings with mobile homes and have left a sour taste in their mouth. Mostly because it was someone elses home they were having moved or set up. I mention to them what I am planning and they look like I just ran over their favorite dog. I am planning on selling my Fender Telecaster to gain some money to put towards my first purchase and have been scowering the mobile home ads like a madman. I was wondering if any of you “veterans” could share your first deal. Mobile home size, how much, things you would have done differently and such.
