I do not know about renting one but depending upon what you want to live in you could use Lonnie’s techniques to possibly find you a very cheap mobile, especially if it needs to be moved. You could then sell it when you are done and make your money back or even turn a profit.
Any idea on where I can rent a mobile home on a temporary basis (4-5 months) to be set up on my property in Monmouth County NJ while my primary home is being renovated? I’ve been searching the web, but only seem to find temporary construction trailers.
