Today it is not politically correct to designate a park as a mobile home park. The owners do not want people to envision everyone moving away in one night. The most common name is Manufactured Home Park or Community. Manufactured designating the home was built at a factory not on site. Modular Homes can be manufactured, mobile, or an elegant estate. Modular means each module or section was built off site and constructed on site in sections. So Modular homes may be two story 4 section houses and real property, or one section mobile units registered with the DMV. This is my simple knowledge so Beware and Best Wishes. NM
