Contact DMV Div of Motor Vehicles (919) 733-3025(registration section)
or License and Theft Section (919) 733-7872
or your local office.

You can do 5 deals a year without a dealer’s license. If you
are a dealer, then you have to have an little office.

I’ve done several deals in the Raleigh, Nc area.

I’ve gotten clearance from the NC department of Insurance to have an office in my home, aslong as it’s for the buying and selling of used MH’s, as I won’t have an inventory.

The market is hot, and there is very little competition in the area for used MH’s as long as you stay in the
“Lonnie” market…ie; used MH’s, 10-15 years old, etc.
