Fernando,

My suggestion is for you to go out and meet some brokers in your area. See if they are looking for any part time help. Ask them every question you can think of in regards to the business and how business is in the area.

If they are looking for part time help, they will help you get started and you can learn the business at their expense and with a little bit of your time. You will not only meet some valuable contacts, but will learn the market, and the in and outs of the business.

Fernando, your area is hot with a lot of deals. So stop being a talker, and get out there and become a doer. My biggest concern for a newbie is PROCRASTINATION. Everybody wants to talk about it and then don’t follow through to do the things it takes to do to make it happen.
