In TN the cost of getting licensed is about $600.00 If you are a LO the best training will come from the underwriting manuals for the lenders you work with. If you have no experience I’d suggest you go to work for a NON CONFORMING (B/C) broker first. You will not get what you need from books alone.

Hi, I’m from NJ and I want to become a mortgage broker, however, there are courses that want almost $600 for their course. They also told me that I would have to be bonded. Is there anyone out there that can tell me where I can get this training for cheaper. We are required to take an exam in NJ. Thank you.
