My mother died and my sister and I inherited her part of a house. My father took a mortgage in his name and his companion. When my father dies who is responsible to pay the mortgage? Do we as heirs have any saying on the house?
If my father’s companion declares bankruptcy, can we loose the house?
If they get married anything changes on our rights?
