It is capitalized because REALTOR is not really a word but instead is a registered trademark. Spelling it “realtor” is not correct because in the U.S. book of trademarks that is not how it is registered. By the way, you don’t offend any REALTORS with your ignorant comments.

You often have be a realtor to be a member of the local board of realtors. In many areas, you can’t get access to the MLS without being a member of the board.

Looks like a struck a chord with a realtor. Sorry if you’re one of the good ones. You know, the 98% of realtors really give the others a bad name.

word realtor, REALTOR, Realtor, REElter or REELTER on air and see what happens. If what you say is correct then I’ll just go and register Yahooooooooooooooooo just to be different from Yahoo!

Just to be fair to REALTORS I agree that most investors could use a little education from state approved courses in real estate licensing.

Many of the questions asked on this board can be found in real estate classes.

Cheerz,

Oh, really? I think you might want to do a little research. Maybe try something as simple as looking in a dictionary.

Including my area (Bristol, CT - home of espn - dadada, dadada!!). …Or, unless you have a buddy that lives directly next door who’s a Realtor and has access to the MLS (…and, oh, look at that. He gave me a key to his home office - of course, just to check on things while he’s away …)
