I am looking into purchasing a multi-family unit in NYC…and my current west coast bank will not finance on the east coast. I would like to go with one of the top banks in the area- NY Community, Astoria Federal, Dime/ Wamu…but I couldn’t contact anyone via the phone on Thursday or Friday (I was transferred at least 4 times at NYCB). I am forced work via the phone initially… I am looking for a good recommendation of a commercial/ apartment loan officer…
