I don’t know about financing, but you really need to clean up your credit. There’s a pretty good book on this subject called Guaranteed Credit by Arnold S. Goldstein, it has helped me through the process of cleaning up my credit report. Good luck.

I am looking to buy a house with 68% LTV from Freddie Mac (bank owned). They are not interested in financing any portion of the house. I have 2.5 year old bankruptcy due to a ‘layoff’ with good credit since. My FICO score is 540 because there are numerous accounts that are reporting ‘bad debt’ or ‘write-off’ instead of ‘included in bankruptcy’. I am in the process of ‘cleaning up’ the credit report to read properly. My income is over $6,000 a month with the same company for 12 years. If I can just get into the house, there are a multitude of financing programs available. I have been looking for weeks with no luck. Is there any programs out there for me???
