Hi I’m closing on my first rental property. It’s a rehab
Purchase price $5500 cost of improvements $8-10k. fmv after repair $56,000 (house has been vacant for 8 years). I plan on renting it for $450 per month,thats 25-50 lower than average rent in the area. I’m hoping to keep the same renters in the house for a long period of time with the cheap rent, so I can spend my time looking for my next house.I close within the next week and want to get a good rental agreement before the repairs are done and i’m ready to put it on the market.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
