Hi Chris–

Aha! A question in my area of expertise. I collect books on negotiation. The best book ever on negotiation techniques (as opposed to theory) is Chester Karrass’ Give and Take. Almost as good is Gavin Kennedy’s Pocket Negotiator published by The Economist. These are listings of hundreds of techniques that you can use and that people use on you.
Highly recommended. Roger Dawson’s books are good also. Good luck.

There is an author by the name of Robert Dawson. To be
honest with you, I do not know his first name, I do
know his last name, it is Dawson. I think his first
name is Randy Dawson, nevertheless, he is some
excellent books on negotiations.
