Start at http://www.lawsource.com/also/usa.cgi?sc and search for something like “manufactured home dealer license” and variations. It’s a good exercise to actually read the applicable statutes yourself anyway.

Hey Folks! Been reading the site for several days and am interested in knowing how South Carolina treats the issue of being a “dealer” I know it varies from state to state. Would anyone care to give me a little information on what hoops I would need to go through to work “Lonnie Deals” in the state of South Carolina?, or if you could just point me to a South Carolina State source and I will get the info myself.
By the way this site is really a “wealth” of information and “help”. I certainly appreciate the time you “Pros” take to help out “newbies”.
